Blue Boar, Lawford Heath, Rugby is adopted in the Warwickshire Mineral’s Plan for the extraction of sand and gravel and is located east of Coventry just off the A45 close to the existing Ling Hall Quarry.
The site was marketed by WPDG over 2022 with Cemex announced as partner. The Cemex team are currently working up a planning application and undertaking necessary surveys and studies to support this process. Works are programmed to commence in 2025. This will generate a revenue income into WCC and will generate jobs in the local area together with providing a local source of building materials.
